Recently confirmed, the 41st edition of the classic yachting rally, the Cannes Royal Regatta, will take place in September 2019, bringing this popular French yachting port to life once more. Organised by the Yacht Club de Cannes, the annual Royal Regatta attracts up to 200 of the world’s most spectacular classic sailing yachts between 10m and 50m, as light-hearted racing gives way to convivial shoreside events over the course of one week. While the headline sponsor, Panerai, has pulled out after 11 years of involvement in this iconic sailing event, the Cannes Royal Regatta is sure to wow crowds with a captivating schedule of fixtures again in 2019.

In Review: The Cannes Royal Regatta 2018

The recent edition of the classic yachting rally was an incredible success, despite unpredictable wind conditions forcing a halt to play for two days. Approximately 1,500 sailors participated in the event, which saw eight sailing yachts awarded with trophies: S/Y MOONBEAM OF FIFE, S/Y ELENA OF LONDON, S/Y KELPIE, S/Y ARGOS, S/Y RESOLUTE SALMON, S/Y CIPPINO, S/Y FJORD III, and S/Y VANESSA.
