Now that the spray has dried upon everyone's decks it is time to sign off from this year's Biscay Triangle Rally. I have received various letters of appreciation concerning the rally and the common theme is that despite not reaching La Coruna due to the poor weather, everyone appreciated the efforts made at short notice to pull together a very pleasant cruise of Southern Brittany.
Many felt that if it had not been for the rally they would never have explored so many different places in so short a time. I have also received a very appreciative letter from the Breton singers `Bol d'Airs' that joined us in Sainte Marine for the sea shanties. They enjoyed everyone joining in - particularly Dennis Dixon's (Navigo) impromptu `hornpipe'! Our article for `Yachting Monthly' has been written and I am told that it should appear in November's issue ( released October). So farewell and adieu, hoping to keep in touch and to meet once again on the high seas!
Here are some final photos taken by David Kerr (except the Miss Tippys), all that time ago in Torquay - just to remind you of some of those that sailed with you this summer!
